Made from 369 Aluminum Alloy, these caps are built to last and not break. Built with the highest standards, these caps are guaranteed to fit properly and ensure no leaks. The replaceable gasket is made from a synthetic material to help prevent corrosion and icing up in subzero temperatures.

Depending on your needs, you can either choose a locking fuel cap or one without a lock. Both have a 12" chain with an 8" loop to keep your cap from dropping to the ground. The cap is made with an internal diameter of 4.35" and comes with either NPSL or NPSM threads. NPSM stands for National Pipe Straight Mechanical and NPSL stands for National Pipe Straight Lock. NPSL caps will work with both NPSL and NPSM. Most importantly, NPSM threaded caps will only work with NPSM.

Finally, these 4 Inch Fuel Cap with 255 Degree Thermal Relief can work with either vented or non-vented fuel tanks. For extra protection, the caps have a built-in pressure relief system as well as a thermal pressure release. If the fuel cap is heated to over 255 degrees, the safety mechanism will melt away allowing the tank to vent. As a result, this venting helps reduce the chance of explosion as well as protecting your fuel tank from unwanted pressure build up.
